What Is Self Mastery? Part 3 How our senses are responsible for level concentration, peace of mind & flow of harmonized thoughts? Hows it beneficial for students & everyone ? How we can control, manage, enhance our power of senses & ratio of success.The next large component of self-mastery is mental health, and this is much trickier than physical health, due to many pitfalls that affect the mind along the way. Yoga has different meanings in different perspective one of the divine & supreme meaning of yoga & essence of yoga is to CONTROLING your SENSES & BALANCING them. And here we are going to do innermost elaboration of senses ( Smell, Touch. Test, See & Listen)to know how to manage them. It is an natural phenomenon that our senses get attracted towards the external subject(sound, smell, test, etc.) and hence we need to redirect them inward (in our mind). This redirection process of senses is called as PROCESS OF RESTRAIN in yoga. By practicing the process of restrain, it helps us to increase CONCENTRATION and reduces instability of mind. Our senses are the dynamic element of mind & has mystical-magical power & ability to do anything. When our senses goes about experimenting the outer world or travels in the universe they find there-self subject & communicates with them. Then the mind becomes fickle & inconsistent and sometimes it get carried away by the senses as by itself, and at times it cant communicate with the outer world. So whatever raw material presented by the senses is developed & created by the mighty mind. The WAVY nature of the mind is highly dependent on the instability of senses. While meditating using YOGA, you asked to close your eyes so that you will not able to communicated with the outer world of color & light. You asked to shut your ears to avoid the outer noise. You asked to hold, maintain & normalize your breath to control your impulses (All through the process of restrain) The Eternal sensation of the senses from their subjects, their restrain is in order to prevent the increase in restlessness of the mind. To stabilize the restless mind it has to be settle & manage in a single point to enable, restore & rejuvenate your concentration level. As the mind gets set on a single point or on a one specific object, your concentration power increases LEVEL OF CONCENTRATION MAKES YOUR FOCUS & GOAL MORE BROADER & WIDER thats why Michael Shumaker sees critical turns as simple one, small roads as the big one. Thats why Sachin Tendulkar sees a small cricket ball as a bigger one. As level of concentration increases, it turns resultant & the sensory perception get managed more effectively & impact-fully, then neither the sense not the mind will create any problems. The best solution for the internal problems is to thoroughly retain, utilize & BALANCE these 5 senses. The Bad thinking come to light in our behavior because of the unbalanced management of the senses. So it is important & compulsory not to wander our mind & practice balanced concentration for stability & prosperity. Now lets focus on thoughts and you will come to know how to harmonize the flow of thought. We can control our flow of thought by using the process of restrain to regulate & normalize hem in right direction. To think and imagine is a function of a conscious mind & the unconscious mind controls, determine the way we behave. All our emotions are linked with it and our problems are related to our behavior & behavior is linked with our senses. That is why it is required to concentrate & balance our senses because it result in to an art. For Instance Drawing the lines stylishly can turn into the artistic design. In reality the individual lines did not seems attractive enough but and artistic combination with aesthetic sense can result in beautiful picture. Similarly, we can transform our inner world in to a very beautiful world just by managing & balancing our senses. You will also have awesome results in your personal, social & professional life.
